Monday – 20/4/2026 The mobility week begins at 10:00 with a warm welcome for all participants, followed by outdoor icebreaker activities that group students into five mixed international teams. After a refreshing coffee break, the newly formed teams embark on a guided tour of Opava from 11:30 to 13:00 to discover the city together. Following lunch at the school canteen from 13:00 to 14:00, the group sets off at 15:00 for an engaging 90-minute excursion to the local Fire Station, offering an insightful look into emergency services and community safety.
Tuesday – 21/4/2026 The second day starts bright and early at 07:50 at the Praskova bus stop to catch the 07:55 bus toward Raduň. The morning centers on hands-on biology workshops at the Raduňský wetland, complemented by a scenic walk through the Chateau Park. From 12:00 to 14:00, participants gather for lunch at the local Raduňka restaurant followed by free time. After catching the afternoon bus back to Opava, students and teachers enjoy a relaxed free evening to explore the town at their own pace.
Wednesday – 22/4/2026 Wednesday kicks off at 08:30 with an energetic Kahoot Water Trivia Competition. From 09:00 to 12:45 (punctuated by a relaxing coffee break), four international teams cycle through four interactive 45-minute school workshops covering biology, robotics, Lego building, and item swapping. After lunch at 13:00 and afternoon free time, participants reassemble at 16:00 dressed in comfortable outdoor gear. The late afternoon features an eco-friendly clean-up and wood gathering, setting the stage for a festive evening barbecue filled with grilled treats, marshmallows, and community bonding around the campfire.
Thursday – 23/4/2026 Day four is dedicated to a day trip, meeting at the train station at 08:15 to catch the 08:23 train to Ostrava střed. Upon arrival, participants visit the iconic DOV (Dolní Vítkovice) industrial heritage complex, participating in a team-building quiz across mixed groups. Following a lunch break at the Karolina shopping center and the afternoon train ride back to Opava, the group gathers at 18:00 for a celebratory evening at the school featuring the Certificate Ceremony and a lively farewell party.
Friday – 24/4/2026 The final day opens at 09:00 with a focus on sustainability and history. Participants engage in practical upcycling and clothes-swapping workshops—breathing new creative life into brought garments—and enjoy a visit to the historic Silesian Museum, recognized as the oldest museum in Central Europe. Accompanied by a morning coffee break, the formal schedule concludes with lunch between 12:00 and 12:15, leaving the afternoon open for free time, quiet reflection, and fond farewells.
